Gorillaz are a British cartoon band who were created by Blur frontman Damon Albarn and Tank Girl creator Jamie Hewlett, and have been very successful thus far across the globe. The members are blue-haired frontman 2D, a Japanese teenage girl guitarist Noodle, Satanist Murdoc Niccals on bass, and big black drummer Russell Hobbs (yes, named after an appliance brand).
2D's ex Paula was an early member as the original guitarist, but was kicked out after having an affair with Murdoc, which led to him getting a broken nose. However, Albarn and Hewlett removed her because she had similarities with Murdoc, and wanted a more diverse cast.
Well it's a very obscure girl to tickle, I can admit, but good choice!
