How do you get your cold items home? Do you just plan it out so the system comes that way or do you get them in some other way, such as walking there?

Toronto

Getting cold items (such as beer, my number one cold purchase while in Toronto) back to home base is as simple as hopping on the regularly scheduled subway or streetcar back there.

There's rarely more than a few minutes wait.

You may be used to American style "mass transit" which is often a few run down old buses tacked into service to placate the liberals. You often need to plan your course days or weeks in advance when using such systems, and the maps of routes are, for lack of a much stronger word, "complex."

Properly implemented, mass transit is easier, cheaper, smarter, safer, and cleaner than the personal vehicle society America has built. This is possibly why 10 dollars a gallon is par for the course in some countries, but 3 dollars a gallon is absolute chaos and disaster in America. Maybe this will be the wake up call needed to join the future.

Here in New York City, there is no problem. A subway train arrives every 5 or 6 minutes during the daylight hours (every 3 minutes during rush hour).
