For The First Time This Year...

We are having "Snow Showers" in New York City this morning.

This is the first hint or trace of snow this season.

It is a bit early to experience such on November 20th.

Hello, Winter. (Even though it does not officially begin for another month) .

It is supposed to be very cold here later this week.

Yes, it's too early for snow.

It's also freezing cold, with much wind.

This weather is far too cold for the week of Thanksgiving.

Snow can be fun to play in but, overall I hate cold weather.

I hope this doesn't presage a cold winter for you guys... I forget what the weather prognosticators said about the coming winter - for you guys, and for me. Then again, Mother Nature will do what she wants to do. To hell with what our models say. They sure didn't warn us about those two hurricanes this past summer (well, not specifically).

From what I've read and heard.. it is supposed to be "moderately cold" but not as bad as some recent winters, with a bit above average snow, but again not as bad as some recent winters
