The Sky channel has been making some pretty good movies based on his books, and now they're making 'Going Postal'. I haven't read that one yet but it looks really good. It's got Charles Dance in it, and the main character is the actor that played the awkward curly haired guy from BBC's Coupling...the one that actually made the show funny before he left.

Here's the url for the trailer. The sound/picture was waaaay out of sync for me, but then again I was streaming something to my TV at the same time:

His stories are so amazing. I hope that the show makes me laugh with all the subtle little jokes in the same way 😉

They arlready made Hogfather and The Color of Magic, which included the story of The Light Fantastic in it, and they're really good too. jeremy Irons plays the Patrician so perfectly, it's exactly how I imagined him. I have a thing about reading the books in order and have gotten as far as Moving Pictures over the years reading off and on.

My dad came home from work one day and said 'Touch my hand.' I asked why, and he said 'it shook Terry Pratchett's on my lunch hour.' He'd gone into Waterstones bookshop in Aberdeen for a new Dragonlance book and Terry was doing a book signing. I was jealous. That's when I was a huge fan.

TP is amazing! going postal is actually the only 1 of his books i havnt read- i got halfway and never got round to finishing it for some reason...

I have read the first half of Moving Pictures about 6 times now and for some reason I have abandoned it early every time. But I MUST finish it before I start Reaper Man. I'm just a little obsessive about reading them in order. They do follow a timeline, albeit a very subtle one.
