For those who think tickling is genetic

If you believe that having the interest to tickle or be tickled is linked to genetics, then how does one go about figuring out who it was passed down from?

I have gone through every member of my family and can't figure it out.

I think that it's not so much genetics per se as it is an interaction between body chemistry and psychological background. There may be an inherited tendency to perceive tickling a certain way, but it probably needs emotional triggers as well for it to become what it is to us 🙂 That's why it would be very hard to trace through standard geneology.
