For Tickling Producers: What Got You Started in the Tickling Movie Making Business...

Hi, I was just wondering for the tickling producers out there (both big and small), what was the major motivating factor that got you started in the tickling / foot fetish business? I know alot will say money, but what was the money for? College? Pay Off Loans? Loss of a job? Divorce? I was just curious if some would be willing to bear their story here.

For all that are wondering, here is mine: Many years ago, as a single younger man in my 20's I dabled in some tickling work, making home made videos with girlfriends or girls I dated, just for fun. But here is what finally kicked me into gear.

About 10 years ago when I was still in the military in my latter 20's, I met this woman while working part time at a bar. Long story short four months later she got pregnant and we had a whirlwind short romance and courthouse wedding. Then I learned very quickly we really had nothing in common, then I discovered near the end of our relationship (by getting into her personal letters from her past) that she was bit partial to women rather than men. Which explained alot in our relationship.

I filed for divorce after being treated like a piece of furniture for two years. Things were tolerable after the divorce, until I filed for a modification of custody with our child three years later to make our visitation equal (3.5 days each) when my work schedule got better. She refused to even discuss it with me for a year prior to that. That is when the war started. All of you that have been through nasty divorces with children, you completely understand what I am saying here. For those single people out there, look hard and date long before you leap and make babies!

Anyway during the mediation (which nothing can be used outside of the mediation room in court) The ex-wife's lawyer threatened to triple my child support if I did not let the case go. Being someone that is more about principal I fought the case. Long story short, her attorney took advantage of some loop holes in the law, (not to mention I had to fight half of the case as a pro se litigant because I did not have alot of money to pay for a family attorney). In the end I lost visitation with my child because I was living full time on a large sailboat I owned at the time and that did not count as a legal residence. My child support was more than tripled, and I was also ordered to pay my ex wife's legal fees back to her because the judge did not think enough circumstances had changed in my work scehdule to see my daughter one more day a week living less than two miles from my ex wife's house.

Within that year alot of things started to happen when the economy turned south and I was put in a position to where I had to change careers while still trying to pay my way through school. I was falling deeper and deeper into debt, and my ex wife was just dying to get the chance to throw me into jail if I fell behind on my $1000.00 a month child support payment.

So I got together with some old friends, put together a plan over coffee with them, and we started making tickling clips. We first built a website (all of you may have known Hangtenfeet.com before we sold it this past year to another media company), and then a few clip stores, and now we make special clips for private collectors. It is all done legally and it is alot of fun to do. It was the way I got ahead and escaped my slump. Given all the pressure I was under, I was very motivated to make it work, and it has. But in the end it was to afford the grossly over inflated child support payment for my child. I have since gotten it reduced to $700.00 a month and I am able to make the payment every month.

As far as the ex wife, well that hasn't changed. She is still the same and still tries to make trouble in my life anyway she can. But I am a much happier person than she, many times over. I have never understood the dishonesty, greed, and low levels some go even at the expense and happiness of their own children. I love my child with all I have.

Anyway, I have always wondered when you pay a producer money for a clip, what is the money going toward? To what cause? to what end? Well now you know my story and a big part of my life that I have never shared here before.

I look forward to reading some of your stories and comments. Be well.

Tristan

Interesting story. Sucks that you had to go through the BS and drama beforehand. On another note, sounds like you've got some pretty good old friends........did they allow you to tickle them privately prior to your proposal of becoming a tickling producer, or were they just willing to help out since your situation at the time was kinda rough to say the least?

Thanks for your feedback BMore.. Well one was a female friend that I had known for quite some time, the other were people I had known in the tickling community locally. So it was some emails back and forth and then a plan of action. We shot about 12 hours of stuff the first day! And it just built from there. I did alot of trading materal with other small time tickling web producers all over the country as well. So some of the models I never actually tickled at all. Just traded licensed material for variety for each other's website.

As soon as you can save up enough money....get a good lawyer!
I say keep fighting. I know it is damn tough, and you may have to do a crap load of research before hand, but my view is to fight the evil, manipulative people at every turn, because every win they get vindicates their shitty behavior.

This guy is a great, sarcastic asshole, who taught me a LOT of lgal stuff, the infamous BILL HANDEL:

Also try LegalZoom.com for lawyers in your area.

And his wonderfully entertaining, politically incorrect radio show:

http://www.kfiam640.com/main.html

You can download his podcasts and listen to them wherever.
Handel on The Law is the more etertaining shows, but his regular political radio show is pretty good, even though he has a liberal bent. (yes, I actually listen to the other side!)

For good, all around help to get back back on your feet financially, and pay off your debts, I suggest the Dave Ramsey Show:
http://www.daveramsey.com/
He has an excellent talk show as well.

I hope you come back later, even if it's a year or two, and give a sigh of relief to how you were able to prevail and work through this still tough time.
If you're religious at all, I also suggest prayer, and get friends with a few pastors or priests. They will help you with a lot of stuff, emotional, spiritual, and sometimes even just legal facts they may happen to know.

I've been amazed at living life and feeling you're losing life's battles, then someone calmly tells you "No, no, no my friend, you don't have to put up with that shit! Do this, ......" and they solve a major, or minor problem you thought you could never overcome. I have been this to many people, and many people have been this to me.

I've known too many people in my life, who go around destroying people's lives, but in a way that is perfectly legit. They'll never break one law, but will drive others to break laws. You can pray for these people, many spiritual people would want you to. BUT, they also must be stood up to and stopped whenever possible, however possible. They make the world a worse place. Sometimes they can be saved, sometime they can just be stopped or slowed down.
Man, that sucks!

On the tickle business - what reactions did you get early on, how did you ask the girls to help you, etc.? Many people, like me, are terrified to ask because we may think all hell will break lose if we humbly ask that FIRST model. I know so many girls and guys, yet you just don't know who to start with or what their reaction will be!
