I dont have a link, but I just read some very sad news. Former St Louis Cardinals pitcher Bob Forsch passed away today at age 61.

If anyone has a link, and could post it, it would be appreciated.

R.I.P., Mr Forsch.

Thanks for the link, mils. He left us far too soon.

Awful news. Just a week ago he threw out the first pitch before Game 7 of the World Series at Busch Stadium. Forsch was a fine pitcher and had 16 years in the big leagues. One of the best hitting pitchers, too. He had a lifetime batting average of 226 with 12 home runs, which is damn good for a pitcher. I met Bob Forsch five years ago at a convention in St. Louis. Talked baseball with him for about 10 minutes, and he let me try on his World Series ring from the Cardinals 1982 championship team. 61 is way too young.:sadcry:
