Former First Lady Betty Ford Passes Away

I dont have a link, but I heard that former first lady Betty Ford passed away late last night, in California, at age 93.

Mrs Ford was a very fine first lady, and started what has become an extremely important clinic for people dealing with alcohol and drug abuse problems, after her own battle with alcoholism.

R. I. P. Mrs Ford.

I heard this on the radio this morning. Despite her addictions I remember her as a classy lady, married to a man with an impossible job when he replaced Nixon. I doubt any Republican president could have done any better in the wake of Watergate. R.I.P. Mrs. Ford.
