I discovered a quadruple threat spywear on my computer called Istealth. It is unknown how or where it came from but know that it is cleaned now, so there is no worry of my spreading it. I have been working with my sweeper, Webroot to invistigate this threat. It is a spyware that will track every keystroke you make, so no password, chat, banking, creditcard, or anything you do on your computer is safe. Keep your spyware up to date, running always, and sweep often. Please be careful who you share files with. I had to change every bit of my personal information in my life to avoid identity theft. I hope this helps you to avoid that huge worry.

Do you own this computer? I-Stealth is pretty icky, but it is commercial software, and can be used legitimately to monitor an employee's or child's use of a computer.

It's often used to steal personal information, so your warning is quite justified. But it is conceivable that it could be on a computer legitimately.

Then there is...

the latest version of Norton Anti-Virus (at least the Corp 10.2 )has anti-spyware incorporated...alot of the others spyware finding programs eat memory
