Fun Tickle Responses!

I had a thought - some on here have used this tactic to find out about a celebrity's ticklishness, so I thought, why not try it on Facebook? lol

I put this as my Facebook status: "Random thought - would you rather spend 30 minutes in a room full of spiders or 30 minutes straight having your feet tickled?" I got some good responses from a few unexpected female friends of mine! Here are some:


- "Spiders. Any day of the week."
- "How full of spiders are we talking? Cuz if it's floor to ceiling spiders you're going to be tickled by them over every inch of your body."
- "Tickling. Spiders are from the devil."
- "Funnily enough, I'm only ticklish on my feet--I've trained myself out of being ticklish elsewhere. So maybe that session would finally make me immune to all tickling, mwah ha ha!"

In the same vein of getting vanilla females to talk about tickling, I have a thing I've done in the past on dating apps.

Before arranging a date, I ask "Do you want to play five questions?" The overwhelming majority say yes, and I then ask a variety of other generally thoughtful questions (e.g. "What's something you've done that you regret?"). But at around question number four, I'll ask "How ticklish are you on a scale of 0-10?"

Because it's in the context of a question game where the theme kind of becomes unusual questions, they don't find it at all creepy. Whereas if I trotted that out cold, I think many would be sketched out by it. The end result is that I know before even a first date just how ticklish each girl is. 🙂

That's how I'd do it if I were you Ted...put it in there around #3 or 4 in the "middle" somewhere with a bunch of other unique questions. It's not like you're asking them anything that would offend them (i.e. bra size).

Thanks, Edge. Yes, it's always question #4.
I've had every answer you can imagine.
And as shallow as this makes me sound, their answer on that one question really does play a role in whether I'll ask them out.
