Getting rid of the word "Like"

Do you have a problem in your area of young people using the word "Like" at the beginning of each spoken line? ("Like,you know.."..."Like,remember when.."
and so on.

I was born and raised in surfer territory~it was the lingo of the land. For kids, anyhoo. Man, did the parents hate this!

Y'know what's even worse? Starting and ending every sentence with 'yo'. As in, "Yo, what'd you do last night yo?". Throw that together with 'like' and it make me want to grab the nearest blunt object.

See where i live people have a tendency to say "likes" after every sentence instead of at the beginning which is equally annoying likes .....

ok in all seriousness.. i hate when people say you know every other word.. gesh i even talked to someone who is supposedly extremely intelligent, or so he claimed, and it was you know every other word. that is sooo annoying..
