I had made a new friend on here via the Personals section. I was going to be in Baltimore for work and was hoping to meet up for some tickle-fun while I was in town. We seemed to hit it if right away and traded pictures and a lot of teasing. I was excited to make another tickle buddy and it appeared he was too. The day of my arrival I messaged him telling him i was here and that my plane had arrived. I got nothing I waited a few hours, still nothing. I was really looking forward to it.
Anyone else have this happen?
Heya Jen,
Sadly that's been my experience as well. The few ladies I've gotten to know and felt comfortable with, even taking it off of TMF in talking and all that. Only to either be stood up or ghosted. The last one I attempted cost me about $800 in unexpected hotels and travel expenses to go back home early.
I'm sorry this happened. I know from experience what it's like to look forward to some tickle fun and it goes south for no reasons at all. Hopefully this won't make you put this on the back burner. There are some good people still in this world who enjoy our fetish. If you're ever in VA let me know as well.
This happened to me too many years ago. A girl was supposed to meet me in Florida - we arranged to have our vacations coincide and we were going to go to Disney World.
I showed up - she didn't.
While of course this incident incurred far less of a monetary loss than suffered by the posters in this thread, in the early 2000s a fetish girl (whom I'd already met previously IRL/socially a few times) and I arranged a meeting with an interesting agenda in store (mainly her contributions, one element of which required a very specific purchase).
But she never showed up at the tube stop where we'd arranged and confirmed to meet. I finally went home after over an hour of watching each trainload of people climbing the stairs to the exit where I was standing, and never seeing her.
When I rang her she just raged senselessly for a bit as soon as I'd politely identified myself before hanging up.
Unfortunately some people are 'just like that', and there's no warning of, or cure for, it.
Let's hope, Jen, Viden, Playful, Jeff, and anyone else similarly afflicted, that IF they did this on purpose, let every vile thing (and worse) we wished would happen to them occur and that in spades.
I mean, there I was, not only hurt, disappointed and frustrated, but even worse, down the price of two big industrial size rolls of Saran Wrap/catering clingfilm...
Libertine.
