Ghostly Advertising (non-tickling)

here's a clip and short story i just found in one of my forays into other forums:

>> Strange but interesting. This is a car advertisement from Great Britain.

>> When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because of the unexplained ghostly phenomenon.

>> Watch the front end of the car as it clears the trees in the middle of the screen and you’ll see the white mist crossing in front of the car then following it along the road….Spooky!

>> Is it a ghost, or is it simply mist? You decide.

>> If you listen to the ad, you’ll even hear the cameraman whispering in the background about it near the end of the commercial. So turn up the sound!

A little creepy but pretty cool!

and it says to crank up the volume to hear the spokesman's comment about it. when i saw it the first time, i had my stereo cranked all the way up. when you...uh... see the ghost, i literally jumped outta my chair.

Well coming from a person who dishes practical jokes like this and who is on blood pressure medication, I loved it! It scared the HELL out of me when I first saw it but like I said if I can dish it out I better be able top accept it. How about the "useless clip forum". I had seen that one about a year ago and it scared the crap out of me. My point was if you want to share it with certain members you should send it to them individually. This is not the place to post whatever clip you think is funny or clever. Last time I checked it was the Video Clip section of the tickling forum. Are we going to start posting jokes here too now?

Lately, I've become much more "exposure" sensitive than I used to be.

This thread has been around for about 24 hours, and [relatively speaking] it's got more hits than most other threads of this subforum.

Then, comment-wise, the next thread is "F*ck you", with nearly 6000 hits in almost two weeks.
And then comes the Flash game, at over 4000, same age.

JPBFC's clip, "Jordan - removing shoes..." got few replies, if at all, but got a huge bump, and it's now floating toward 4500 hits.


This thread got an outstanding 80 hits per hour ratio - if you consider that most other threads got stuck at an average of 355 hits per DAY, that is less than 15 per hour.
Just a few pointless statistics, for a pointless post.

This goes to remind everybody we should be bumping threads we like better.
Not those we disagree with the most.
