I personally am...very fond...of tickling feet in thin little socks...ankle socks are the best. Yeah, bare feet are great, but it just seems like the thin little socks, or nylons, make feet more sensitive.

Well tickling in socks is great as far as I am concerned whatever the style!

My personal favourite would be the unmentioned slouch sock (cheerleader type) that come up/down to between the ankle and knee(each to their own eh? lol) not that that they stay on during tickling fights 🙂.

Wish there were more of us though (compared to the barefoot crew).
