Anyone else watch that game? Da-yum what a thriller! I'm hoping they can squeeze into that National Championship game, and also hoping Brian Kelly doesn't bolt for those butt-heads in South Bend. Why would he though? Who'd want to leave a team that has won two straight Conference Champships in a BCS conference for a program that hasn't been relevant since 1993?

Just for argument's sake, the same reason there wasn't a rematch with Ohio State and Michigan in 2006. Like you say though, it doesn't matter anymore.
