I have no confidence in this team anymore.... None. I've been a Braves fan for 27 years, through thick, and thin. This.. would be the Braves worst choke ever.

As most sports fans know, Braves manager Bobby Cox is retiring after this season. His last game could well be tomorrow. He deserved better, the fans deserved better.

This bunch of losers will likely have the whole winter to think about this massive fuck up.

Here is how tomorrow goes, according to AJC writer Mark Bradley. I'm so pissed off at this team, even I'm confused.

According to Bradley:

A Braves win tomorrow, and a Padres loss, means the Braves win the Wild Card, and the Padres go home.

A Braves loss tomorrow, and a Padres win.. means the Padres win the West, the Giants get the wild card, and the Braves go home.

If both the Braves and Padres win, a three team playoff occurs. One playoff game between the Padres and Giants to determine the NL West winner, and the other playoff game between the winner of that game, and the Braves, to decide the NL Wild Card

If both the Braves and Padres lose tomorrow, those two teams play a one game playoff for the Wild Card in the NL.

OMFG. What a finish to this season!

Frankly the way teams all over baseball have been playing down the stretch, makes me think no one wants to make the postseason.

I'm just pissed is all, because this thing should have been over, long ago, with the Braves as either the NL East champ, or the wild card.

Seven hours of baseball awaits me tomorrow, and I may not even know by then who is in, and who is not!

They are starting to look like choke artists.

Granted, the Phillies seem to have this amazing ability to rally at the last minute.

With the way things have been going lately, I'm starting to think we could see another Phillies-Rays series. A rematch would be interesting, but I'd have to pull for the Rays in that situation.

The Phillies are a better team than the Braves, no doubt, but, any team can beat any other team on a given day. The Braves, with as well as they have played this season, especially at home, should be able to beat the Phillies in one game at home.

It could well be another Rays-Phillies World Series. It will be interesting to see how the Yankees do when they get to the postseason. The AL could have a very interesting round of series.

I have been a devout Texas Rangers fan for over 32 years. You have no idea whats its like to root for a team that every year is never in the running for the playoffs. So quit crying like a spoiled brat.

I had season tickets for almost a dozen years yet I don`t come on here whining or running my mouth like you do.

I'll still be buying the extra innings package, and turning on the Braves as much as I can next year. My alleganaces wont change because of a blown wild card or division lead. They didnt change when my Braves blew the postseason thirteen out of fourteen years from 1991 to 2005, so why would they change now?

i'm pulling for a disappointing team. the 49ers were supposed to be pretty awesome this season. Or atleast awesome enough to win their division but they are currently 0-3... it sucks... bleh...but they fired their offensive cooridnator so hopefully their offense won't suck anymore.

You have been all over the place as far as the Braves go. One minute according to you they are unbeatable then the next minute you write a thread about them no TRUE fan would ever write about there own team .

well my Rangers played almost all of September without Josh Hamilton, Cliff Lee wasn`t Cliff Lee because of a back injury, our setup man Francisco has been out over a month and we manage to win the division


Did I mention Ian Kinsler went on the DL twice and Nelson Cruz went on the DL three times.


Or that our no 1 and no 2 two starters at the beginning of the season are no longer in the rotation. or that another starter in Tommy Hunter missed all of April ?

I only root for the Yankees and Mets and pretty much neutral on most teams. I can't stand ex-Yankees 3rd baseman and current Braves Manager... BOBBY COCK. Looks like the Phillies are favorites because of their current starting pitching.
