Good luck, Doc

It's been a day or two now since word came that music icon Doc Watson was critically injured in a fall at his home..... and I hope everyone is sending him all their spare psychic energy. Doc is one of the TRULY great talents spanning several generation. He's improving following surgery, but at 89, one never knows. Good luck, Doc.

Damn it!! He had to lose Merle and now this. I got to see Doc and Merle a couple of times in the late 1970's at the old Great Southeast Music Hall in Atlanta. He always made you feel like you were just sitting on his porch listening to a neighbor who happened to be a flatpicking phenom. You could feel the love for the music and the audience in every note and song. Thanks Pied and Bug for the posts.
