Stocks are pretty easy to build. just get 2X6s and some 2x4s and a screw gun, a locking hasp, a hinge and use a jigsaw to cut the holes. I made a few sets for my self thru tyhe years. i watched how my brother builds them and learned. the perfect hole size is to put 2 2x6s together top to bottom, and then usea pickle lid for the hole pattern and then circle it with a pencil making sure it is even on both boards. then cut the half holes out with the jigsaw, then seand it a bit and then get foam rubber,cut half holes out of it and stick it in each half hole and then cut a larger circle for each half hole from any type of material and tack it on both sides with those furniture tacks, or tyhe ornamental type if ypou want it to look good. Overall it holds the ancles well and keeps them from getting hurt. its great when your really thrashing if your super ticklish like me.hehehe! hope this helps.
