Solid win. Good play on offense and defense. Even Roy Williams showed up. Now they can officially put last years game behind them.
This win, coupled with the NY loss, could put Dallas in a very good position heading into the final month of the season. They could conceivably be 9-2 heading into December.
The Giants have a bye next week. They have games against Atlanta, Denver, Dallas and Philly waiting for them when they return.
Philadelphia plays four of their next five games on the road, including games in San Diego, Atlanta and NY.
Let's hope they continue to play solid football, eliminating some of the penalties in the process. Playing in Green Bay won't be an easy task.
It was a very good win for Dallas tonight. But history has been with Tony Romo he has not done well in December and January. Hopeful for the Cowboys fans sake that changes. I just wanted to put some reality back into your celebration.
Especially since I see Fiend bursting at the seems giving everyone's schedule and counting wins that don't exist yet. Yes Fiend, you could be 9-2 entering December but the reality is you could also be 6-5 entering December too. Or anything inbetween. You need to come out of the clouds.
But I need to acknowledge this...Dallas is playing very well and hitting on all cylinders. They are playing really well on both sides of the ball and playing well on special teams. If they CONTINUE to play as well as they have been they can be 9-2. This Dallas team could be special.
I'm not in the clouds. I know exactly where Dallas stands.
I'm excited that they were able to return to Philly and pull out a win.
I just think that the schedule favors Dallas for the rest of this month. I expect them to continue playing well, beating the teams they should beat (Washington, Oakland) and contending with the top teams in the league.
I'm still waiting to see how things go in December before I get too enthusiastic. I do think that they will play better in December than they have in the past. This team has evolved.
