Got a question

Is it possible to have a ticklish spine? Every time I go to my endocrinologist, he checks my back to make sure that there are no abnormalities by running a hand down my spine, which tickles like hell. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

Yes, it's possible for the skin down the center of your back covering your spine to be ticklish, but I don't see it as a problem. 😀

It is quite possible, yes. Lots of nerves there. I am the same way. It always sends a chill through my body. I think it's just more the back in general that gets to me but you are not alone, dear 😀

It's not really an issue when I get full body massages, but it tickles like crazy if I'm sitting upright. Weird, huh!

I know EXACTLY what you mean!! My back is really ticklish, but if I lie on my stomach, I can take back rubs. If I'm sitting upright - forget about it! I simply don't know how those folks in the mall take it sitting in those massage chairs!!

That's why I've only had one chair massage and don't plan on getting one ever again! 😛

I think that is normal. Actually at elementary school I remembered many kids would pass a finger over the spine of other kids to tickle. I like the feeling, and it is not as intense as other parts, but it is nice.
