This thread is a tribute to all movies, of any era, that were just so cheesy that they actually had a strange, entertaining quality about them. Comically campy would be a good description.

I'm going with "Eliminators" from 1986. I just saw a portion of this thing on TV a few days ago. Let me see what I recall. I remember a female scientist with a tiny robot. There was also a cyborg. Eventually they befriended a pirate! Well, he was technically a mercenary, but saying pirate is more fun since he had a boat. Eventually, the scientist and the pirate got captured by... cavemen! Yes, somehow cavemen turned up in the modern-day southern bayou. Not to fear, as they were rescued... by a ninja! The ninja had, naturally, befriended the cyborg. In conclusion, they eventually made their way to defeat a mad scientist who wished to travel back in time in order to become Rome's Caesar.

Follow all of that? Nah, me neither. And yes, it's a real movie. I hope you have fun with this thread, everybody.

I'll go with Rat Fink and BooBoo which started off as a low grade Elvis type movie then halfway through became a Batman and Robin rip-off with very bad costumes, dialog, and photography.
Rat Fink: We only have one thing to fear from them.
BooBoo: What's that?
Rat Fink: Their bullitts.

I think Batman and Robin is the cheesiest movie that comes to mind.
Mr. Freeze: "Let's kick some ICE!" Oh, . . . God.

They Live also had some of the cheesiest lines, whatever happened to Roddy Piper's Glasgow accent anyway?

"Plan 9 from Outer Space" is so bad it's almost good.

"I Was A Teenage Werewolf" with Michael Landon.

"The Terror of Tiny Town" (1938) If you love camp and can find this, check it out. You won't be disappointed.

I have both of these on DVD and Buggy's right about both.

"Young Frankenstein" anyone?

"History of the World" parts one and two.

'Planet Terror' could be considered 'campy' (at least for modern day standards) and was thourougly entertaining.

'Pee Wee Hermans Big Adventure', too.

Pretty much all Tim Burton for that matter.

Eat and Run is a true camp classic. If I can ever find it and Weekend at Bernies 1-2 on dvd I will die happy.

I think the best cheesy movie I've ever seen was called the Killer Eye. t had everything, from cheesy special effects, soft-core porn actresses, to being able to see the equipment that held the eye up while it was "chasing" someone at one point. I've attached the trailer, below.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/mXOvU5kajr0&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/mXOvU5kajr0&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

If you like Vincent Price then Comedy of Terrors would fit the Camp style nicely.

"Forbidden Planet" (1956) starring Robby the Robot. A must see for lovers of camp. 😀

And here's a tip. Get it now on Amazon for almost half price.....mine arrived three days ago and it has a lot of extras.

Also it's where I got my basis for my Valentine sig pic.

Any Japanese monster movie from the 1950's-60's. They pretty much owned the genre during that era when it comes to campy. 😀

The 80's was absolutely FULL of campy horror movies, and I miss them so much. I'm sick of 'disturbing' crap like Saw...

Remember 'Ghoulies'?

There was a movie called Terrorvision that I remember as a kid, and yes I remember Eliminators. Just a couple scenes from it as I saw it when I was really young. I remember the cyborg moved around on tank tracks, and there was a Roman shield that shot lightning involved, and somewhere along the line the heroes got trapped in some kind of forcefield that kept shrinking. Oh and the bad guy got trapped billions of years ago at the end. That's all I remember.
