I think how this thread has flipped shows others hear think you are very '' passionate'' , yea thats a good word, fan when it comes to stating you opinions in a very ''passionate '' way. Those who don`t agree get a very ''passionate'' and ''colorful '' , another good word, reply from you that often times questions their faculaties in the brain department

Aren't you angry when your teams don't make the playoffs or post-season? When the Jets made the playoffs several times without BF, wouldn't any fan of the team be upset when the Admin spent soooooo much money on the guy and he ends up a BUST for the season?

And, just because someone doesn't like BF, give you the right to crucify them out here including insulting a person's intelligence and right for opinion. Since, we ALL know that everyone's got one including YOU.

If you value your sports intelligence, why don't you try to listen to the radio program for a change and see how adults discuss these topics. It's not just ranting and calling each other names.

This comes from a guy who thinks the Cubs ( and picks them ) to win ever year. Knowledgable??? Smarter??? Coming from a fan of fans who blame the Cubs lack of success on a goat and Steve Bartman.

P.S. I blame the Jets organization ( anyone who listens to the program knows this ) knows I blame the organization from bringing him to New York. But you fail to acknowledge 9 INT's that Favre did throw in the last five games. Is it blame??? No. It is fact. I make a more compelling arguement of 9 INT's in the last five games than blaming a goat or a fan, now don't I???

Let's get something straight...i have never blamed a damn animal, or Bartman for anything.... you see other folks in Chicago do it, and then assume I do it...not very intelligent sir... when they lose, I acknowledge it like a man and move on....My life isn't dedicated on whether my team wins or loses...

I dont go on crazy rants like you, and just pick one thing.... I look at the whole picture...I dont sound like a sour grapes person like you...And I also dont go around calling people names just because their opinion doesn't run parallel with mine

And contrary to Sadira's opinion, I dont need to hear the show to know what's going on...I hear a lot of what goes on there...you seem to forget that for 4 1/2 years now, mostly sports is what he talks about, and he goes on similar rants

I never said you didn't have to like him...it's your right not to... but respect the man for the success he has had...dont know how many times that has to be said...besides, the beginning of last year..he was the best QB the Jets had...you really thought those others would've led them to the playoffs??? Some perspective here please

Lastly, yes I do get upset sometimes, but like I said, it's not my life...I dont wear my emotions on my sleeve like others....so bottom line is, people need to calm down a little bit

Wow, not only not true, but not necessary. No need to be like that.

All of y'all are arguing about this like crazy, and you are missing the point. I'm a Packers fan, have been for a very long time. I love the Pack, and I still love Brett Favre. The fact is, he brought us to the first Super Bowl since the Lombardi days. He is as much a part of the Packers legend as anyone else and he should be admired for that. By the same token, it does hurt to see him wear another team's colors. I understand the Pack didn't let him come back, but we didn't kick him out either. I love Aaron Rodgers, I think he's a great young kid who is going to go places, but I would have liked to see Favre finish up in Green Bay. It didn't happen that way, C'est la vie. Yes, Favre has retired and come back more than once, and he has some conflicting statements on the record, but the man loves football and he never quits. He was at a point where he thought he shouldn't play anymore for the good of the team, but he was mistaken, and he has looked bad in the press for waffling. The fact is though, the man has 12 top-three NFL records in passing alone. He is a great QB, whether you like him or not. I was sad that the fans at Lambeau booed Favre, but people are hurt, and they are going to act out. About Favre's work ethic i'll leave with a quote from the great coach Lombardi himself that describes Brett Favre perfectly:

"And in truth, I've never known a man worth his salt who in the long run, deep down in his heart, didn't appreciate the grind, the discipline. There is something in good men that really yearns for discipline and the harsh reality of head to head combat."

I've never been a packer fan, I don't have respect for packer fans because all they do is whine and cry when things dont go their way...
