Grey's Anatomy Star Eric Dane has passed away of ALS at age 53.

I loved watching Mr Dane on the series. He was a wonderful actor, who left far too soon

I do not directly no anyone who I've witnessed die of it, but I have a twitching disorder and I'm pretty sure that ALS is a god awful way to go and at 53! It is one of the things they are working on finding a cure for.

Cletus, have you ever been diagnosed by a neurologist? I have Epilepsy and get the uncontrollable shakes if I dont take a certain medication I'm on.

ALS....also known as Lou Gehrig's disease is a muscular dystrophy disease and one of the most catastrophic and usually considered a death sentence....not a good way to go at all as the brain is the last muscle the disease attacks, at least in certain cases such as the actor David Niven...you can still think but can do nothing else...

I didn't know him but when i heard how he died i was very saddened...too young
