just wanted to know if anyone saw this movie. i did and i LOVED it.

i am not going to give away a lot, just in case people want to see it for themselves, but i think the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) had a good performance. i love High School football and being from Southern California, i already knew of the story about a football team forming at Camp Kilpatrick, a "jail" for minors convicted of crimes. the story itself is uplifting and i found myself getting into the "games". i highly recommend this movie for those who like football movies and those who like uplifting stories.

Hey baby: 1. I loved "Remember the Titans" and I get the vibe that this movie has the same energy, action and sentiment. 2. I love The Rock. He was fabulous in "Be Cool" and when he hosted SNL a few years back. It might be some time before I catch this one (maybe through Netflix) but I will let you know. Take care honey.

At least its not another banal, insipid remake of something so that's a start right?

TheBoss and I had the opportunity to see this movie and we both enjoyed it. Good entertainment. I give it out of 5.
