Grossness... advice needed

Hmmm...well, how do I put this nicely? Yes...the pain will be gone and most of it will be a distant memory BUT, if you're anything like me, going to the dentist never really bothered me........till now. I am afraid to even go for my routine cleaning for fear they will want to torture me some more. What? That isnt quite what you wanted to hear? Sorry. Forgive me.

Yeah, so they told me today when I had the gauze removed that it wouldn't hurt anymore and that I probably didn't need it changed. Yeah, whatever... at about 5:30 tonight at work I was in the bathroom with tears rolling down my cheeks. SO not cool! Why me? Am I now paying for all of the years that I proudly claimed "I won't catch it... I never get sick!"?? C'mon...
