I'm looking into buying some handcuffs on Ebay.com,I've never owned any handcuffs before or used any before. But i just want to invest in some because i want to get into some bondage (not anything too kinky and hardcore fancy) just keep it simple and playful with alittle kinky edge to it for tickling. Because you just never know when some handcuffs will come in handy for some tickling with girls :smilelove .

So for thoses of you that own a set of handcuffs yourself or used them before.

Which ones would you recomment for a first time buyer? Metal police handcuffs or the soft fuzzy handcuffs? Any tips and advice on this i would more then appreciate.

Thank You

The only real suggestion is for you to use leather cuffs. NOT metal.
Get wrist and ankel cuffs. Stay away from the ones with the fluff inside cause one they tend to wear away and then look crapy and will loose their, grip and effectivness.
Buy wide cuffs, not the ones that are very narrow and thin.

Have fun!

definitely do not get the metal handcuffs..especially if your lee bruises easily..the soft fuzzy type would work best..or if you do invest in metal handcuffs, make sure and place something soft on the skin first before you attach the handcuffs to the wrist..and good luck..

They also make some very nice velcro, quick release, but not quick out cuffs that work really well.

Make sure whatever cuffs you buy have a metal hook to attach rope to, not cheap plastic loops that just break as soon as the lee bucks. :sowrong:

Have a good length of rope for EACH cuff!

NEVER by Metal handcuffs for the purpose of tickling, it just leaves marks on the skin and the lee is more worried about marks on her wrists than anything your fingers or feathers are doing.

Good luck and lets us know how it goes.

Agreed. No metal cuffs. For a beginner, I saw a nice cheap set recently -- just ten bucks. Hustler makes them. They're neoprene and velcro cuffs, I think, with a plastic clasp holding them together, but secure enough for starting, probably, though there's no good way to secure them to anything else. But you could be creative. The best part? The cuffs read, "DON'T STOP!" 😀

Have fun!

definitely not metal cuffs. Those can not only leave marks, but can cause serious injury, ie lacerations and broken bones if one is resisting too much.

I found a pair that I love called Sport Cuffs. They are easy to release, comfortable, and won't leave the slightest mark.

I got mine from this store: http://www.fascinations.net/

good luck!

No metal handcuffs, and nothing that uses a key unless it is quick release.
Lees like me struggle if the tickler is good, so make sure whatever you use for bondage, it is comfortable for your partner.
I've never used metal handcuffs, but when I see them put on fugitives they don't look very comfortable. LOL

Believe me...they aren;t...they actually tend to close tighter the more the person struggles, which is why they came out with "double locking" cuffs, which locks both directions of the hinge, so you can't open them or close them tighter once they are double locked, without unlocking that feature first.

Hello NYvise,
I would like to know how you know this handcuff information? Hinges and double locks are things I try to stay away from.

all standard issue cuffs will have a double lock, it is what keeps them from getting tighter and is a safety issue. Anyone with any training with handcuffs will say to double lock.

all of this is reasons I, and NYVice may agree, are reasons to not use them. They aren't toys, they are tools. Now leather, that is a toy and a tool :>

Sports Cuffs defintely. The one's I own are velcro so it's easy to release in case of emergency and are extremely comfortable. You can find them for sale online or you can probably purchase them at any porn store. (that's where I got mine from)

I agree with the group...stay away from metal hand cuffs!!! I had a rather interesting experience once with metal hand cuffs, one that I care to never repeat!! I perfer to use the leather restraints personnally, no marks!!!

Well about the handcuffs people... I was bidding on this set of nice cuffs on Ebay but i feel asleep in my room so i forgot to check out about the hours left and when i woke up i lost the bid :sadcry:.

I concur with that was said above. Metal handcuffs are a no, no. As was mentioned leather cuffs work very well. If they are not lined you can cut up some strips of soft cloth ( like an old flannel shirt) and place them on the wrists or ankles before using the cuffs.
Soft thick nylon rope is also good. It just takes a little longer to get the ticklee in an immobile situation. Again if rope is used use thicker cloth or multiple wraps before the rope
One has to be very carefull not to cause any chafing or bruising.
