Happy 2005! "Wish You Were Here" still the Best!

Played the CD at midnight for the 5th New Years Eve in a row!!I never grow tired of it!

Which got me to thinking...

If Waters,Gilmour,Mason & Wright set up un-announced in New York's empty Central Park Stage and began playing at Midnight,how quickly would the park fill up with thousands of People?!
My guess is people living nearby would investigate the music and run to the park.They'd get on cell phones and call people who would also phone friends....so how quickly would the crowd swarm to 10,000 + Traffic Jam? I want to hear estimates!!

Now that it is 2005, that means "Wish You Were Here" is officially 30 years old. Man, all of my favorite rock stars are grandparents now... or they're playing in that great band in the sky.

Interesting......it wasn't at midnight, but we played all of Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" tonight. And we did the whole Wizard of Oz sequence trick. Actually parts of this does cue up with the movie.
