I want to wish a very Happy Jewish New Year to all forum members who observe/celebrate it.

In NYC, and for much of the East Coast, it seems, it is going to be a very wet and stormy Jewish New Year. Heavy Rain is expected to begin in NYC later tonight, and continue for much of the day tomorrow.

Anyhow, Happy New Year.

As it turns out, the forecast on Saturday, for Yom Kippur, is much the same as it was for Rosh Hashanah, with heavy thunderstorms expected. Even though we don't technically fast. (I couldn't, even if so inclined, because of my meds) I'm supposed to go to my dad's apartment late on Saturday, to break the fast.

It always seems like the stormy weather comes, when something important happens.
