Happy Mother's Day To All Forum Mothers

I know I'm early with this, but I'm going to be tied up with cleaning, and then leaving at the crack of dawn to go to NY on Saturday, so I just wanted to wish all the members of the forum who are mothers, a very happy Mothers Day. I hope you all have a great day with your children.

As for me, as everyone knows, this will be the first Mothers Day without my mom, so of course it's going to be rough. I'm going to lunch with my friend Barney and his mother on Sunday. I've been friends with them for 20 years, so being with long term friends on what will likely be a difficult day, will help.

I've had one of the best Mother's Days in a very long time complete with a nice lunch, flowers, and some much needed peace and quiet.

I know this isn't an easy time for you; it's been almost 17 years since my mom's been gone and it might as well be yesterday. So enjoy your lunch with your friend and his m om and take it one day at a time.

It was a nice day! My grandmother received something that made her smile! Then, mom and I kicked back and relaxed like a family. 🙂
