Has anyone ever tried to make a tickle machine?

I've had this fantasy for awhile now where you hook somebody up to a tickle machine and just leave the room, leaving them to the cruel mercy of the machine. Has anyone ever tried to make one? If so, how'd it go?

I built a small one as a prototype many years ago from an Arduino box and servos. I have rough plans ready for a newer version to be built soon-ish. You can find more about it on my blog here.
