Viva Maria! (1965) Preparing to take the capital city, the Marias are captured by Catholic churchmen who fear the disorder of a revolution and want to stop the people from treating the women like saints. After a bungled attempt to tickle torture them (the Inquisition's equipment is too old to work well) the Marias are rescued by their victorious army. Finally they move to France, where the circus is recreated as a successful musical version of the revolution.

Where did you find this description? Sounds like that fella' has been posting bogus mainstream tickling info on the IMDB again.

The film stars Brigitte Bardot and Jeanne Moreau. They are taken to a dungeon and manacled down on tables. Brigitte's head is placed in a vise. In the background you can see Jeanne's boot removal. As I recall the scene from childhood, as the monks are trying to get her ankle locked in the manacle, she lets out a shriek (which may have been an accidental tickle reaction) and she lifts her leg breaking the manacle. It was hardly "a bungled attempt at tickle torture".

BUT, the millisecond where she shrieks and breaks the manacle has been clearly edited out (WTF!), as you can see by the jump-cut. There is also no audio.

Sorry, this one is yet another mythological mainstream scene that never happened.

i wonder what kind of pleasure some of these pathetic idiots who make up these non exsisting scenes get out of it?

i remember when i was new to the whole tickling community/tmf, the so called avengers tickle torture scene i was DYING to see for myself..then come to find out it was fake (hence, began the series of fakes that are still going on today it seems lol)

I checked the movie out and watched the entire scene and there is ZERO tickling in it.

In fact the description of the guy getting kicked? The foot never moves...he LITERALLY jumps backward like he was kicked but it never happens.
