IMO Encore was horrible.. nothing compared to Marshall Mathers LP and Eminem show.. u could tell he wasnt ontop of his game.. but the recent thing is the new Loyal 2 the game cd (Pacs new CD) Em produced it and he has pac rappin with cartoony beats. Sure those beats work for EM but not Pac. Another thing is eminem messed with his voice.. like slowed it down or sped it up just to match his beat.

On croked N**** too Eminem makes Pac sound like fricken Twista.. But the most thing i dont get is why they played with and edited his voice.. to say things he never said. Examples are: on "Out on Bail" "Pac says drop that shit EM" And on Loyal 2 the Game ft G-unit Pac says G-unit in da muthafuck*n House... also at the begining of "Soldier like me" Pac says "2Pac 2005" i dun know what to think anymore... maby Em dint put those lyrics in there but Pac did himself??? I like Em but 2004 aint looking good for him in my eyes.

I never have really cared for eminem and proble well never will. Sure i like a few songs by him like the latest song of his ''Mosh'' i love the song and video for that. But other then that i don't really care for him. The only eminem cd that i have of his is his first LP one that he came out with when he first started his career.

I know it's hard for you to believe or understand, Red, as you seem to have it out for all artists of the rap genre, regardless of the different styles represented within the genre, but Eminem is a rhythmic and lyrical genius. He's quite intelligent with a better vocabulary than most of us here on the forum have, myself included. He can manipulate beats and rhythms like no one else I've ever heard.

I must confess I've not heard all the tracks on his new CD yet. Those I have heard so far seem to me typical of his style, but I'd have to hear them all to give an honest opinion on the direction he's taking. I do like the fact he's getting a bit more political and involving more current events in his lyrics. He's one of the few who has the balls to risk his popularity by doing so.

I agree with Mimi eminem is a lyrical genious and he can rap with the best of them. But with that being said i still don't like him as an artist. Not because he's white or nothing like that thats not it. I just don't feel his style of rapping. I never really have.

Eminem is a true talent. like others have said, he can rhyme with the best of them. i havent heard his new album, but hopefully it wont suck. one of my favorites songs of ALL time is "Lose yourself".

Yeah i used to think that... but then he didnt return 9/13/03 but ill tell yea like I said he Says "2pac 2005" on Solider like me ft. Eminem. then later on out on bail at like the last part he says "incase your wondering this is my muthaf*ckin n**** Em on the boards" (production) One thing i dont get is it will still be 2004 when the album drops, so why does he say 2005? Guess it must be him comeback date... If he truly does still live that is.

Musical taste is subjective so I can't really fault someone for enjoying M & M or any other rap style of music. However I don't see what is so impressive about pressing play on a drum machine, copying in other peoples' samples and rambling on about your f-ed up life. If you are into creative rhythms I can point you to many more talented musicians who actually play instruments and make MUSIC not just contrived gibberish over a computerized beat track.

Then again it's a free country, if that is your thing, go with it.
