Have you ever felt like this?.....

you have limited contact with someone. You've never seen their face and they haven't seen yours. You exchange phone numbers. Then, one day the person calls you. Whatever you were doing stops on a dime as you go completely weak in the knees.

Though you've never met in person, something about this person makes you feel good, very good. You feel special, important, sexy whatever when in their presence.

I have and it's a wonderful feeling.

Her eyes met mine and mine met hers...no words were spoken but there was this sense of two hearts connecting right then and there...the next thing you know, I'm massaging her feet and we get along like old friends, even though we just met that very evening. Amazing.

Yes, I've been lucky enough to experience that too. One of the nice things about interacting with people in stages (online, then phone, then in person) is that feelings like this have a chance to grow and deepen. And you're right - it's one of the greatest things in the world.

Iam very happy for you, crydun, and I hope it all works out for you. Iam a believer in a person's "gut". Sometimes one just has to go with a gut feeling, be it in business, love, or what not, and just say "What the Hell" for lack of a better term, and toss all the rationality out the window. In such cases, I find that someone's gut feeling can usually pay off, so hopefully it will for you in this case. Good Luck! I hope all works out great for you!

I was suprised, and was nervously infatuated with that person while talking on the phone with this person. Seriously, there's a guy I'd met online before Drew and I connected. I was going through a rough time when he and I first met. There's just something about the way he talked to me (whether online or on the phone) that broke through all the barriers I had up. He made me feel like there was a tomorrow and that I was loved. We still keep in touch, though sadly, not as much. He's a good friend who holds a special place in my heart. And, yes. He's one of us.

Same thing for Drew and I. He dropped me a note after seeing my site. We wrote a few times, started gabbing in IM, then on the phone. By the time he finally came up to visit, I knew I was hooked. I still get weak in the knees when he looks at me just so. Ahhh, love is grand.
