So I had to get a tooth pulled yesterday, which really wasn’t a big deal because my dentist is very good. My wife and I are both patients, and manage to have fun when we go.
She has a fun, easy going, sometimes flirty personality and loves chatting us up as much as possible before getting down to business.
Yesterday, as she was finishing up putting stitches where my tooth came out and said “This might tickle your face, but hold still for me okay?” I gave her a little thumbs up to let her know I was fine. I was aware of the thread on my face but I was still so numb I couldn’t really feel it.
A minute later, she said “You’re doing great, that probably tickles huh?” I followed with another thumbs up and found myself wanting to say “If it does I might have to get you back.”
