Help finding an apartment in SC!

Hey everyone,
I'm moving to SC this summer for an internship and am in the search for an apartment. I can find plenty of places but really have no way of knowing how good they are or whether I should just avoid them. If you know anyone who might be able to help me out or can yourself please let me know! I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks! I actually have been through there and was hoping to get more than just a price and name. I'd love to be able to get down there and look through them myself to see if they're at least in decent condition but unfortunately I won't be able to.

If it's for just the summer, there's less danger. My suggestion would be to let pictures and your sense of how people sound over the phone guide you. Plus, with the Google Maps "street view" function, you can actually take a tour of most neighborhoods online. I am currently living in a lovely apartment that I selected that way.
