Help on tower of gargalesis

Does anyone on her play the RPG game "Tower of Gargalesis"? I'm currently doing the side quest where you save the mother from inside the abandoned house and I'm stuck on the floor with all the switches. I can't leave the house either. Can anyone tell me what I'm meant to do? Been stuck for days.

I think it was pattern based on color or some gimmick.
It's been a decade though. Try asking in the games sub forum.
