I can't for the life of me remember the live feed site that I've been able to watch UFC fights on after they've aired and I would love someone forever if they could help me out here.

Anybody know where I can find video of the fights last night? Thanks in advance! 😀 :bounce:

Last night's fights were amazing until Anderson Silva got in the cage. HUGELY disappointed. :disgust:

Yeah I read all about it and BJ's shitty performance too. That's what happens when you let success go to your head. Such a shame. At least in the world of MMA there's GSP to represent true sportsmanship. That guy always respects his opponent, no matter how badly he beats him, he always seems to have some nice compliment to offer about the opponent's technique or whatver. Silva should pay attention to this example.

Not so! BJ Penn fought the best he could. Edgar had him figured out and stuck to a game plan designed specifically to beat BJ. Penn didn't lose out of ego; he lost because Edgar fought a perfect fight.

Silva on the other hand could have ended that fight at any time. He had Maia outclassed from the opening bell and could have KO'd Maia at any point in fight. Instead, he spent round 2 taunting Maia and barely pressed the action at all in rounds 4 and 5. Dana White was so upset by the performance, he handed the belt to Silva's manager, told him to put the belt on Silva and left before the final bell.

Before the fight, Silva said he would cut to 170lbs to fight GSP for his next fight. If I were Dana White, I'd refuse to give him GSP, saying that he has to earn it.

Ugh. Looking back on what I said, I realize that I didn't separate out what/who I was referring to. I didn't mean that BJ was letting success go to his head, just Silva based on how he chose to handle that fight. I saw this in his last fight too. Dropping his gloves. Mocking the other fighter. Dancing around like a fool. Just being an ass basically. Sure, Maia had NO FUCKING CHANCE. Everyone knew that before they stepped into the octagon together, but hey show the other fighter some respect. :disgust:

I haven't actually watched the video yet of BJ and Edgar so I only say "I read all about BJ's shitty performance" cause that seemed to be the consensus from the pundits. That's all. I mean the odds were 8-1 against Edgar. So it wasn't like people thought they were fairly matched. Everything I've read basically says BJ "obviously underestimated him and didn't prepare enough". I'll watch the fight and see. 🙂

As far as Silva fighting GSP, I say give it to him. Bout time somebody knocks him off his highchair. 🙂 Honestly it makes me sad because he's a freakin phenomenal fighter, but his personality is losing me as a fan entirely.

Fedor is also a good example of sportmanship.

Silva's match looked more capoeira than MMA.

Edgar had the right gameplan. He showed good stamina and nice footwork.
