Help with new Music Forum?

I created a (mostly)music forum, its vBulletin style the same as tmf, and it's going to be opening soon. It would be great if people from the TMF could zoom over to it and throw in a couple of posts (NOT about tickling!) so that when I really start trying to recruit new members, it won't be "naked."

I'm a metalhead so metal/rock/punk is welcome, but none are excluded.

I'd appreciate the help, I'm going to post the link you can use to access the forum. Again, please don't post anything tickling related, and for my own privacy, I'm going to post the link with spaces so that it can't be googled back to here.

It has potential, providing it has a focus:

The site was an idea that started in November of 2007. I wanted to make a place where local and indie music can be supported. I also wanted a place where creative people could come and express themselves within a community. Originally it was going to be just a music magazine, and I also toyed with creative a Not-For Profit Organization.

Since then, changes have been made in the interests of time and money, and the site is what it is. As of FEB '09 it is a wholly interactive site, which will rely on the public for most of its content. I hope that in the future it can become something more, but for now, I can't let perfect get in the way of good.

Not really familiar with it, although it sounds straight forward.

I don't have a specific task in mind at this point, other than to create a space where people can be musically creative and social. If you have a song that means something to you, or a song you think most people may not have heard (or for any reason for that matter) feel absolutely free to post it!

(I'd like to remind anyone to please refrain from using the sitename in your responses, as the text can be googled by anyone, linking them to the TMF...has happened to me before...very embarassing!)

Could be a good forum for new bands starting up so they can advertise their catalogue and for advertising gigs etc as well as a forum for music fans to discuss whatever they want 🙂

Thanks for replying! I hope that it will be diverse enough for people to utilize it.

Just put up the banner and changed the colors a little bit...will take a while to get used to vBulletin!

it's a chat area that has a radio station as your chatting you can hear music and the dj if you wish. Anyone can listen though you don't have to be in the chat area you need a player that supports internet radio like winamp. We use a program called SAM to actually dj. People in the chat area can request songs. The stations are very expensive to own and operate.
