ok i just transferred a story from my email to my wordpad thinking that would help make the story fit my page..it doesn't..i still have to scroll from side to side to read the whole story..i know how to size it down to fit my screen, but i've forgotten...can someone please help me?

I think just clicking on the borders (the bars just above text) and adjusting them should do the trick.

Yeah, see if you can dump the story into Word, as opposed to Notepad or Wordpad. Should do the trick!

hm Blue Mage..on the wordpad itself there is a word wrap function?
