this is a spinoff from the thread on whether a ticklish person can get a tattoo on their feet or whether or not this indicates ticklishness. I posted there but on further reflection i thought this might merit a seperate thread! A couple of weeks ago at a big fair near Buffalo NY i saw a lady getting henna tattoos on the bottoms of both her feet (i realize real tattoos arent very probable on the soles). She was laughing like crazy all through it and from what i could gather she lost a bet to her guy friend. She was propted up in a comfy chair with both feet up on a stool. She was an older--maybe late forties/early fifities--attractive woman, nicely dresed in shorts, top and sandals with VERY nice feet: size 8 i guess, soles smooth and soft with bright red polish. The artist was painting a feather on each of her feet and her laughing was QUITE loud and hysterical. She kept saying good-naturedly how ticklish her feet were. The artist was laughing himself and seemed to be having a good time and she drew quite a crowd with all her laughing and protesting. It lasted a good half hour and was WONDEREFUL to watch. I almost wondered if this was done to drum up business because there were proabably twenty or so watching and many looked in to see what all the commotion was! I also wonder if the lady and her guy are one of us? Anyone else get or see a henna applied to the soles?
