Been living here for 30 years so I guess it aint so bad...weather most of the time is pleasant from spring until midsummer..then it gets fairly hot for a while which isnt bad except for the humidity...

Then fall is beautiful 50-60 deg temps and beautiful foliage..typical New England stuff.. Winters have been relatively mild here the past few years.

As for food, you can get just about any type of food you want in the area I live in..My favorite time of year is "corn season" though, when ya get the best Corn on the cob anywhere at the local stand.

The people--Pretty cool for the most part, but we still have those like anywhere else that just want to gripe or make trouble..not very predominant, though.

Good examples of the cool ones are Ann and Drew, JPie, and others that live in our little State. The cost of living is relatively high, but generally worth it, and there is always something to do.

Best part is that both Boston and New York are just a short road trip away for extra fun.

Sounds great, Ray! If I lived in Conn., I think the only negative for me would be the weather. But then, I've lived in Southern California all my life, so 50-60 deg temps freeze my ass off, and forget about shoveling snow, which I've never seen! 😀

Ah Ray I am really quite flattered. Personally I love it here in New England, I love the fall, the snow, the spring. But I am a NY GAL by birth and by heart. Thats why I moved to Southern CT where I am just a train ride from my beloved city.
