My weekly copy of Sports Illustrated just arrived, and this is their annual "The Year In Sports" edition. Every major sport is included. On the front cover is none other than LaDainian Tomlinson, star running back of the San Diego Chargers. He is Sports Illustrated`s "NFL`s Finest", award winner. I highly reccommend all Charger fans purchase this issue, or simply steal it from your neighbors mailbox. hehehe Also included in this weeks edition is some of the best sports photography I have seen all year.

Most of the so called experts on ESPN are picking them to reach the Super Bowl. But you must remember one thing. Unless they fall on their face during the final two games, the Chargers will have home field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs, and that is a huge advantage. Chargers will more than likely choke in the playoffs. just an early prediction.

I think the only way the Chargers choke this year is if Tomlinson, Rivers or Merriman goes down with an injury. Or if the entire team steps into one of your flatuence clouds just before gametime.

Well to switch gears ( and I dont consideer this hijacking) but ESPN or one of those networks had a very nice piece on Donnie Edwards taking 50 kids out shopping for Xmas (kids are from a shelter). I know the cynic in all of us can say he is doing it for publicity and there are a lot of other players who also do such kind acts, but I still it is reflective of the kind of person that he is.

both team showed a lot of heart today. One of the sweetest moments was after the game when Alexander and LT were hugging and talking and then they stopped, and obviously turned and posed for a picture and then faced each other again and started talking again.
