Ok HIM fans, this is what we have all been waiting for...the new album hits the 27th, and I absolutely cannot wait!! I have heard most of the new album, and let me tell you, I think that it is their best work yet!!

Him is one of the most androgonous guy's I've seen. Besides michael jackson, boy george, prince, well ok there are many others. Anyways I like his song "join me in death".
 
"HIM" is the name of the band. It stands for His Infernal Majesty.


The lead singer is Ville Valo, and he is H-O-T.

Although, I must admit, I like him better with long hair. He's hot either way.

As for Ville....eh, he's a bit pretty I guess, but in a much more dramatic, haunting, gothic sort of way. Along with Krokus, I like him better with his longer hair, and his darker appearance. But he is a fine specimen either way.

That's Ville Valo in the picture, Isa. Though Krokus is every bit as sexy as Ville, and even looks almost exactly like him...lol

I just played the video for Laz, and he was blown away...said it was some of the best shit he's ever heard from HIM (I'm the big HIM fan in our house, though humorously, it was Lazzy who introduced me to them in the first place). He's just as hyped as I am now to hear the rest of the album!

LOL! Thank you guys so much for your kind comments. You wouldn't believe how much pampering and such I've done to myself to try and achieve his look. It took me FOREVER to grow my hair out (at least it seemed that way), and I have a daily regimen of facial treatments and such...it's tiring!! LOL

Mimi, I just saw the pic of you and lazzy together, you guys make the cutest couple!

Awww, thanks you two. Cute? I don't know about THAT, but we're certainly exceedingly happy together. I think that warm, tingly, giddy sensation two people have when they are really in love is contagious and can be felt by those around them. Maybe we'll infect one or both of you! 😀

One thing I've noticed (since I am now totally and completely obsessed with this song and video and watch it/listen to it 10-20 times a day)...is it just me, or does it look like Ville filled out a little bit? I don't mean necessarily gained much if any weight...his face just seems a little fuller, and his frame isn't quite as whispy as it's appeared in the past. Then again, it could just be the haircut...LOL

I see what you mean Mimi. I read in an interview that he apparently isn't very fond of his hair being short, and only did it to "mix things up" and such. Apparently he thought it would be good to have a "new look" for the new album. He says he is growing it back out....


He also mentions that he has "stopped doing a number of the drugs" he was doing...so he may have indeed put on some weight. I think it's just the haircut myself.


I've been hoping that he would cut down on the drugs/alcohol ...some fans at a new york show last year I believe it was...nearly broke out into a riot, because ville came out onto the stage so drunk that he couldn't even remember his lyrics. It was awful to say the least. :sadcry:



I got some new shoes today!! Check em out, I bought them online, they arrived today....can't wait to start sporting them... :redheart:

yippeeeeeeee i finally was able to click on and listen and watch. omg the guy with the dread locks. so totally awesome. and the song blew me away. however i think he would look better with longer hair, i love long hair on guys. especially rockers. thanks krokus they definitely rock
