This is really not so much history related as it is political science/conspiracy related, but i really feel like "Behold a Pale Horse" was a pretty influential book for those of us interested in this sort of thing.

I've always been interested in the vietnam war, more specifically how the media shaped the world's view on the war. This was the first war brought into our livingrooms.. (well not mine, i wasn't quite born yet then) and i personally feel like the media coverage gave us our first real perspective of war itself during the Vietnam war.


... and don't even get me started on the history of classic rock... i'll never shut up. 😀
