Houston Astros manager AJ Hinch, and GM Jeff Luhnow have both been suspended for one year for the sign stealing situation.

I'll wait for reaction to this before posting my own thoughts.

In addition, the Astros owner just fired both Hinch and Luhnow from the team.

Some people take the excitement out of sports for some reason. Nobody wins in the end if you have the edge, So much for win with grace and lose with dignity

My reactions:
1. The Houston Astros should be stripped of the title of 2017 World Series Champions.
2. I should be given a full refund for the tickets that I bought and used for games 1, 2, 6, and 7 of the 2017 World Series.

Mils, I've never heard of a team being stripped of a World Series title.

Then again, this is probably the worst incident in baseball since the infamous 1919 "Black Sox" situation where eight members of the Chicago White Sox threw the World Series, by intentionally having actions to make the Sox lose the World Series that year. As baseball fans know, those players were banned from baseball for life, and barred from ever being in the Hall of Fame. .

Most other incidents are one guy for drugs, cheating, a fight, etc, and it is one guy who is held accountable, and not the whole team.

I don't know how I feel about it. To be honest...it's like when people knock the Pats and say "they only win because they cheat." I think that's dumb.
Everyone is trying to gain an edge, to a point.
Cheating and going out of your way to do stuff like this though is over the top.
