WOW. Who was that Team against the Vikings today? Halloween spirits dressed up in NY Giant Football uniforms?!
In the words of "Frank Barrone" (Peter Boyle) "HOLY CRAP"!
I should have picked them in the Contest here but who the hell would have thought this the way they played against the lowely Lions?!

TTD

One would think that they were a bunch of impersonators. I was at the game last week and I saw what I have been seeing the whole time I have been following them, which is my whole life. they continuously play down to the level of their opponents, which was the case last week. Match them up against a good team and they show up, which was the cae today.

Granted Moss was out for the second half, but the Giants came up with some key plays including the interception by wilson late in the 1Q to set up one of their TD's. this brings me to another point. If the G Men don't beat themselves and play a solid 60 minutes of football, they can play with anybody.

A good win which was sweeter from bouncing back from a bad loss.

The Vikes didn't help themselves much, that's for sure. I wouldn't count the Giants' loss to the Lions as "lowly", though. Detroit is far better this year than they have been in the past few...plus, the "Any Given Sunday" rule.

I just hope this doesn't start a slide for the Vikings like last year's loss to the Giants did. Some teams just play other teams well, be it the match-ups you're looking for, the schemes, the coaching style...Minnesota can't get past the Giants for some reason, much like New York has had thier own problems with the Lions.

Hey, I picked the Giants to win in the weekly football pool, because the Vikes were without Moss(mostly) and other than the Giants getting killed by the Eagles in week 1, they have looked pretty good.

Coughlin is getting the job done!!
