I'm trying to find a business I can run or a job I can do on my computer at home. I have cerebral palsy, and I need to find a way to support myself so I don't end up in a nursing home, group home, or whatever. I'm working with vocational rehabilitation, but the simplest and most logical solution for me would be to find something I could do from home.
If a site seems legit before investing any money check out the BBB website to see if there's any complaints on that company or what not.
I did a home-based job before through HUD. I had to send out a letter to people who had money coming back to them from the State. If the person sent back the letter signed I'd send it to HUD. HUD would then send me a contract to send to the people to fill out and they'd return that to HUD and they'd get their money and I'd get my share.
Needless to say I did not get 1 letter back and I sent out at least 200. I don't understand why HUD just didn't send these letters out themselves in the 1st place! I definately wouldn't recommend that one to anyone!!
Just to tell everyone, I acquired a literary agent yesterday. I have a one year contract with her and four completed novel manuscripts, so hopefully something will work out.
