In Hong Kong the main TV station is TVB, so in this TVB series BURNING FLAME, further down in the series there is this Japanese-like girlfriend (played by LEE SAN SAN) of the main character (played by WONG HEI).
In one episode Lee San San gets tickled on the sides by Wong Hei as they were sitting on the couch (to my recollection; it's been a while). He says it's to relax her as she said she was all tensed up. It's a bit hard to see as his hands were behind. She laughed.
