Two of my OLD favorite horrific pieces have been presented in color already, but never publicly posted in B/W so far!

Here are the images in naked ink strokes... because B/W drawing may come in a different way to some of you.

I am overwhelmed by the raw nekkidness of the black and white!!!

Delightful images, Bohy.

I remember them well when they were presented in color, and you're right it's a delight seeing the inks on their own.

Do you ever take the time to scan just your pencil work?

I know I almost never do...but it would be really fun to see your process.

Cheers, my franco-phonic philanderer.

Thank you very much, Bandito.

It's like asking me to jump, split legs in mid-air and land on the tip of my toes, hehe. I'd love too if I can. Meanwhile, I still have the rough and hellish pencil sketch of "The Abyss," and probably it can take its place... but oh the horrrrawr! 😀

We'll see. Wuv you! You're cool...

PS. I googled Franco-phonic, and I think it's reggae...(?)

Anne:

Despite the Conrad reference your work could never inspire the hawrawr! XD

Would love to see some of your pencil work sometimes. It's a compliment, I promise.

XD

Regarding francophonic: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francophone

I was just making a silly joke that your name is French in origin. Which is really all francophonic means. French speaking. N'est-ce pas?

You rawk.

They are both wonderful!! You are very talented 😀

Thank you persephone, *bows*

You draw purdy, Boh!

Thank you, Kered! I'm very much obliged.

Aaaaw!
Yes, I will post, just wait on me. :waterballoon:

It’s 'Moulin Rougian' instead. ... But as I was reading lately, something coincidental is taking shape about my pseudonym... Year (anno) 196.... Made me shiver. *shiver*

...................

Then, I was caught by "Francophonic," and I tried hearing. His genre is sort of "reggae" to me by first impression...

French letters and "French Letters" make a scandalous world of difference. I'm sure it will make Sir Eiffel grin. :scream:

Your silly intellect drives me crazy, Deet. Thank you for all the support. 😉

True, there is a clean crispness to inked artwork that becomes more difficult to appreciate once color's been added. While the finished form will always be preferable (color supplies much of the piece's mood and sense of 3D modeling), these two examples look particularly splendid in black and white... your eye for delicate composition becomes that much more evident! Thank you for letting us see these masterworks in a whole new way!

Nice renderings, Bo. It's always fun to see behind the scenes work.

Both pics are incredible, love the sheer level of detail

Thank you, Low Roads. It's always a pleasure to read your intellectual feedback but because it is coming from you as one of the respected artist around.

Thank you for the support, C.A.B., and for being a great colleague.

Thank you heman2045, I'm glad you like the details employed in the drawings.

I love your naked ink strokes... :devil2:

I love when I get the opportunity to see the B/W inks.

Lovely work as always Bohemianne!

BRAVO! :yourock:
