One of my mostest favoritest parts of tickling someone is that anticipation/panic they undergo before you even start to tickle.

Picture it--

You're playing. You get your fingers/teeth/toy/whatever into a really sweet, off-the-Richter Scale-ticklish spot, and before it even begins to tickle, they start FREAKING OUT, knowing how badly it's going to tickle. And there's no getting you outta there, either, because you KNEW before you even got to the spot how bad it was gonna be there, so you're ready to counter any move to escape they might make.

God, I love that.

I savor that moment. Maybe even (*sinister bastard laugh here*) prolong the moment before I start tickling, just to revel in that pretickle anticipation hysteria.

I know exactly what you all mean, but it can even start earlier, such as when you are having a conversation with someone who is obviously ticklish. If "tickling" comes up in any way, usually that person will start to freak out and fidget around if you makes any physical motion toward them. I savor that just as much, especially if they are cornered and know that they can't escape...

The build up / anticipation to a tickle session is an important part of the whole process. Even with a willing lee there is always that look of apprehension in their eyes.

hehehe j/k. Yeah, it's pretty sweet, I have to say. I love it when there's that involuntary attempt to fight or flight which accompanies the panic. Mmmmm.... The suspense is such a weird combination of torture and wonder that it's practically unbearable! It's just like "MY GOD, DO IT ALREADY OR DON'T!" It's like when someone tells you exactly what their going to do to you and you laugh uncontrollably before they even touched you.
